Path to Pasargadae. Objectives. Where it all begins

So...

I've fidgeted around this for a long time. I've always felt the urge to write, since I was a little kid. I remember even writing about Diablo 2 or Soul Calibur 2, but always giving up right after I started. Maybe I was too young to have consistency in what I was doing. I talked with two friends of mine, Henrique and Mariane, about the idea of making a blog.

Henrique's idea for a blog is that it has to be objective. That way you'll always have what to write about, and visitors will know what to expect when they come read your blog, so it's easier to form a fan base.

Mariane's idea for a blog is just to write what you feel like writing. She writes really really well (way better than me or Henrique), so I guess her more ~poetic~ approach is quite valid. Every word she says is heartfelt. However, that makes it oh so much more difficult for your word to spread.

Not being able to decide which path to take, I've tried to mash together both ideas, and look for my objective. It has to be there (Henrique's advice), but if I want to be able to write from the heart, it shouldn't be an oh-so-clear objective (Mariane's advice).

I am a computer engineering student at UNICAMP, which is the best university for my choice of study in my country, Brazil. I was born and raised (at least till I was 14 y.o.) in Fortaleza, 4th most socially unequal city in the world.

This blog will have both statements from what has happened in my life before it was created, and comments about my daily life living in the university-student filled county of Barão Geraldo, in the city of Campinas

I aspire to become a role model citizen and high tech work force.
And then, move to Canada, build a house, and have a family.

This is my path to Pasargadae.
